For sale is an excellent Simpson-Suhl Drilling in 16 ga. and 7x57R rifle caliber. This Simpson-Suhl has the following outstanding features:
Greener cross bolt, double-barrel locking lugs, side clips, cocking indicators, auto safety, front set trigger, genuinely nice European walnut stock, case hardened receiver with engraving, barrel length is 25 1/2", chambered for 2 3/4" shells, tang safety-side safety, pop up sights. All matching serial numbers. It also has the Einstecklauf Kurtz .22 LR insert, a genuinely nice add-on.
It is also fitted with a Zeiss 6x42 scope with a German #1 reticle and mounted with Suhler claw mounts, another valuable add-on. It also has the original leather scope cover. Original sling swivels. There is no rust or pitting. The stock shows honest field usage. Similar to Merkel, Krieghoff and J.P. Sauer drillings. Superb calibers. Classic German workmanship. Additional photos upon request.
