*** SOLD *** Handsome and great handling MX8 the way Perazzis were meant to be! Most Perazzi shooters know that Italian Olympian Enio Matterelli collaborated with Daniele Perazzi in the development of the classic MX8 trap gun. When Matterelli retired years later from Perazzi Daniele gave him a special edition of 100 of these “Matterelli” trap guns. Most of them are in the hands of a small number of sophisticated European shooters and it is very rare to find one in the US. *** This MX8 has great bluing and a stunning SCO grade Circassian walnut stock and forearm. The action has the classic nickel finish. Naturally, it has a detachable non-selective trigger firing the bottom barrel first. Overall weight is 8lb 3oz. *** The 29-1/2” barrels weigh 1.54kg and have a tapered tramline rib and white front sight. A spare red front sight is included. The under barrel is bored 0.728. The upper is bored 0.731. Both have been fitted for Briley choke tubes. The seven choke tubes included are Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Light Modified, Modified, Improved Modified, and 2 Full chokes. A Briley wrench and grease are also included. *** The Monte Carlo stock with generous palm swell and beavertail forearm are made of SCO grade Circassian walnut. The checkering is crisp. The stock dimensions are 14-7/8” Length of Pull over a 1” Perazzi recoil pad(a spare Perazzi 3/4” recoil pad is included). The Drop at Comb is 1-3/8”, the Drop at Monte Carlo is 1-1/2” and the Drop at Heel is 2”. Type IV forearm. *** The gun is cased in a Negrini Perazzi case with Perazzi spring kit with tool, stock wrench, and seven Briley choke tubes. *** Recently refurbished by Giacomo Sporting with a new locking block this great handling Perazzi would be equally adept at trap, sporting or the flyer rings. It is very rare and very beautiful in a way that only the Italians can create. You will be proud to uncase this at the range and enjoy putting this great handling gun through its paces.
