Description:
Colt SAA First Generation, Born in 1911, Chambered in .38 Spl.cartridge. Gun comes in original box with the original barrel and cylinder chambered in .44-40. At some time in the past the previous owner saw fit to have their Colt converted to .38 Spl. They kept the original barrel with Frontier Six-Shooter .44 on barrel, cylinder and hammer in a pouch in the Colt box and it come with the gun. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard and grip frame. Original finish on gun except for the .38 Spl barrel and cylinder, which has more blueing. Grips are first gen Black with Colt Ramparts. Box is exceptional condition with one small unrepaired corner on the lid.
