This nice looking little banger in 45-70 with hot factory loads will handle anyting on the continent and probably the planet in a tight little woods carbine with an overall lenght of only a hair over 36". Only the most minor and insignificant light rub marks keep it from being in new cond but it clearly has not been carried or used in the woods. It is a corect North Haven Ct made gun not the later junk that came after Rem took them over. 18 1/2" Ported Barrel
There is a blem or over stamp where the JM marking would be and is not distinguishable.
