The 700 features a receiver machined from solid-steel bar stock resulting in uniformity and strength and a recessed bolt face that locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel, which is surrounded by the receiver, forming "three-rings-of-steel" that enclose the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength. The Model 700 200th Anniversary Limited Edition features a C-Grade high-gloss walnut stock with Fleur de Lis checkering and a medallion in the grip cap. The high-polished blued receiver and steel floorplate have classic American-style laser-engraving and 24K gold inlays. New England custom gun sights are included to make this 700 practical to shoot if it ever comes off your wall.
