Here is a survivor from 1882 which looks like it was made last year. The bluing is bright and nearly complete. The wood varnish is nearly perfect. 24" round barrel .38-40 with a perfect bore. All original sights and finish. No cleaning rod in the butt trap. Case colors visible on the lever and hammer. Only the dust cover is missing some bluing which looks like something may have been spilled on it at one time which stained the bluing. No pitting on the dust cover, however. A very nice 139 year-old Winchester in 95%+ condition. Shipping and insurance included to your door for this antique Winchester. Layaway available. NO TEXTS
