Description:
This is an original Springfield trapdoor dated 1869 on the breech block. The Springfield lock is dated 1863. The receiver and barrel are matching serial numbers. The overall condition is good for its age. The only missing part I'm aware of is the rear sling swivel. The cleaning rod is either a reproduction or it's been stripped of its original finish. The bore has good rifling and some rust from years of sitting. I believe it would fire but do not have the ammo to test it. 45.00 for shipping.
