Sako began making excellent, accurate rifles for the civilian market in the 1940s. They were so good, in fact, that Sako is now part of the Beretta group
This Sako model AV we have for sale was produced in the 1980's and is still in beautiful condition, the finish is fine and the wood is beautiful.
