Description:
Serial #151624, 20 Ga. (3"), 28" VR barrels with excellent, bright bores (choked MOD and FULL). This is a nicely made shotgun that has retained about 97-98% of the original blue finish with some very mild silvering at the muzzles and on the edges of the trigger guard bow. The frame retains about 95-97% of the original color case-hardened finish with some fading along the bottom edges. The beavertail forend and pistol-grip buttstock have retained their glossy original varnish, but does exhibit numerous small scuffs and minor surface blemishes throughout. Additionally, there are some small surface chips on the edges of the top tang, two short cracks at the top scallop on either side, and some hairline cracks and small chips along the edges of the forend as well. The stock has some side to side wiggle. The gun has a 14 1/4" LOP to an ill-fitted brown rubber recoil pad, and has drops of 7/8" and 1 3/4" respectively. The gun has a single, non-selective trigger and locks up tightly. This is a handy little Spanish double, and is in about good plus-very good overall condition. Jim who leads the shipping Dept. took this Double to the skeet range and went 10 for 10. Great looking usable gun. FFL
