This is an excellent example that was used lightly and well maintained. It retains almost all the blue on the barrel, magazine and receiver with only light handling/edge wear with even the bottom of the receiver retaining nearly all of the deep blue. Excellent stock and forend with only light handling marks and fine checkering.  Correct Winchester embossed pistol grip cap, fitted with a correct Lyman 56 receiver sight with a slot filler in the rear barrel dovetail that does not appear to have ever held a buckhorn sight. Front sight has the hood intact, tight action, bright exc. bore. A nice 70 year old deluxe 71.
