Documented and built in 1898 by Boss & Co, in a time frame when master maker John Robertson was at the helm of the company, and considered to be the best period of the company’s long history. Both pieces, identical in nature feature 28inch barrels with Improved Modified and Full Chokes on both firearms. Each gun is engraved “1” and “2” to denote the matched pair. Cocking indicators, single selector triggers and full side locks are all hallmarks of these fine English doubles. Still sporting their original 16ga 2 and 9/16 chambers, and overall in amazing condition considering the age. This matching set comes complete in their original oak and leather case with original label. An amazing set that would be a compliment to any heirloom or English double collection.
