Winchester Model 12 built in 1942 and in rare 28 gauge. This is a complete remake by Simmons and has their markings in the ventilated rib. The gun is like new in all respects. It has been cycled a few times, but not much. I has not been shot or handled much at all. The exhibition Black Walnut stock has a high gloss finish, perfect fine line checkering and both pieces show a beautiful sunburst grain pattern. Straight English grip.This is a stunning looking gun. Wood like this is just not seen often. Dimensions are 14 3/8 LOP over a Winchester plate, 1 1/4" DAC and 2 1/2" Drop at the heel. The barrel is 25" with a fixed Skeet choke, 2 7/8" chamber and is perfect inside and out. Full length Simmons ventilated rib is installed and marked with the correct Simmons markings.
