Description:
This is a good condition EW Bern of Switzerland Model K31 bolt action carbine rifle in 7.5 X 55MM Swiss. The Model K31 replaced the Model K1911 carbine and was the standard issue Swiss military rifle from 1933 to 1958. They were well known for their excellent accuracy. The blued barrel and receiver frame are good with blue fading in some areas. The blued 25.67 inch barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory blue curved trigger is smooth and light on release. The factory smooth medium beech stock is fair with the expected dents and dings common of a military surplus rifle. Own a piece of history with this EW Bern Model K31. This K1931 comes the original magazine serial numbered to this rifle and a leather sling. Manufactured 1952. 7.5 X 55mm Swiss
