Description:
This Colt 1911 is in excellent condition. It commemorates the Meuse Argonne battle at the end of World War 1. The left side of the slide is rolled stamped with a battle scene. The right side of the slide engraved banner which reads, "1917 WORLD WAR I COMMEMORATIVE 1967." The Grips are polished walnut with the left side consisting of a spread wing eagle with "1917-1918" at the top and "World War" below and beneath that, there is a small banner that states "Meuse Argonne." The right side has a gold medallion with a soldier at port arms and the countries involved in World War 1. Overall this is an excellent piece for a collector. .45 ACP
