Description:
"

This is the only Calisher & Terry percussion pistol-carbine we know of. It is complete with its attachable shoulder stock. The overall length with the stock is approx. 27""; without approx. 16.5"". The approx. 10.5"" round 54 caliber barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The barrel has a post and blade front sight and a fixed notch with two leaves rear sight. All the exterior metal has a smooth gray-brown patina. There are a couple of areas of very light roughness. The internal parts of the bolt action retain most of their original case colors. The brass nose cap, trigger guard, butt cap, and stock butt plate have an even aged patina. The top of the action is marked TERRY'S PATENT over 30 BORE. The lock is marked CALISHER & TERRY. The pistol is stocked to the muzzle. The stock has sharp edges, no chips or cracks, and light to moderate usage wear. The shoulder stock attaches to the pistol grip via a slot in the grip and spring loaded locking tang on the shoulder stock. The shoulder stock is very good with no chips or cracks, moderate wear, and an open swivel hole hole in the bottom. The action functions correctly. This may be your ONLY chance to acquire an example of this extremely rare Calisher & Terry pistol-carbine! This came from an extensive Confederate collection but we are unable to positively associate it with the Confederacy. To our knowledge, this is the only Calisher & Terry pistol carbine known.
