Description:
Manufactured from May of 1942 to December of 1943, this 1st Block production Inland M1 Carbine is in "shooter grade" condition. This M1 has been reworked and is a mixture of parts from different manufacturers. The stock is in good condition with no cracks. The barrel is original to the receiver and is marked "Inland Mfg Div. General Motors" and is dated 12-42. The muzzle erosion gauges at a 2+ and the bore is bright with light pitting. The barrel sports a type-3 barrel band/bayonet lug. The barrel on this particular M1 Carbine has been threaded some time ago and a thread protector has been installed. This M1 passes headspacing tests and is in great mechanical condition.
