The Winchester Model 1912 (also known as the Model 12 or M12) became a instant hit on its introduction. Based on a John Browning design using a sliding forearm or "pump action" to cycle the mechanism offering rapid operation, the gun earned the epithet of the "Perfect Repeater." All Model 12's are built in a take down configuration, a couple of easy operations separates the gun into two smaller transportable pieces with all parts captive, making for easy cleaning and efficient storage.
Here we have a good clean example of the Model 12 in excellent overall condition. A classic field grade with great wood and fitted with the elegant 18 rib forend. It sports a special order 32" Barrel with solid matted rib choked Full - ideal for trap, wildfowl and long range shooting. Weighing 7lb 11oz this shotgun will soak up the shots and feel right in any situation.
