Wonderful condition and beautifully executed H. L Grisel Pre 64 Model 70 Winchester in .280 Remington. 24" barrel, two panel bolt, trapdoor buttplate, engraved grip cap, Grisel bottom metal, and a wonderfully checkered point pattern walnut stock with great figure and color. 13.25" LOP to Checkered trap butt plate. Trigger is in the rear of the trigger bow, so it feels great to me (I am 5'11"). Nikon 3-9x scope in Redfield style steel mounts. Weighs 8lbs 12 ounces with this scope and mounts. My scope of choice and lighter mounts by Leupold or Talley would knock about 4 ounces off of the rifle, if you care to do so. It is well balanced as is. Rifle is signed H. L Grisel, Bend Oregon. Pete was one of the founders of Dakota Arms wih Don Allen. Superb quality in a great all around caliber, in the finest action. Thanks for your interest. Priced to sell. Please see my other listings.
