The Winchester Model 1912 (also known as the Model 12 or M12) became a instant hit on its introduction. Based on a John Browning design using a sliding forearm or "pump action" to cycle the mechanism offering rapid operation, the gun earned the epithet of the "Perfect Repeater." All Model 12's are built in a take down configuration, a couple of easy operations separates the gun into two smaller transportable pieces with all parts captive, making for easy cleaning and efficient storage.
Here we have a great example of the Model 12 in excellent overall condition with a poly-choke rib. The 16ga is often considered the sweet spot for weight of shot to weight of gun. This Winchester does not disappoint with an easy weight of 6lb 13oz, packaged with a crisp breaking trigger of 3.6lb, an excellent bore condition choked Mod and displaying a fine figured stock.
