This Colt was produced in 1951 in second year of production of this model. The pistol's serial number is 2425 LW. It is fitted with the 2 inch barrel. The bore shines bright and minty. The chambers are also in bright condition. This Colt shows some light carry use. There is no sign of this pistol being fired. There is some light blue loss on the right side on the frame top strap. The original bluing would rate a strong 98% overall condition. The grips are coltwood grips. These plastic grips have a chip on the right hand panel on the bottom. These grips fit pretty good as these grips are known to shrink some. This is a very nice condition early Colt Cobra that has seen little use or being fired.
