Nice Savage model 99, 300 Savage caliber. 24 inch barrel, open sights. Drilled/tapped for peep sight. Stock appears to have been re-finished, and also has some scuffs on the right side, as shown in pictures.
Made in 1953.
Excellent overall condition, and bore is perfect.
