Description:
Listing a Savage 1899 chambered in 30 /30, the short rifle version, 22" round barrel, crescent butt plate. She's old , serial number 43.459, dates Mfg to 1904. Makes it 117 years old. Has cocking indicator on top of bolt , pretty nice condition considering it's age. Wood is on dark side maybe from oil over the years. Barrel blue is pretty fair , receiver is worn silver. Still a decent old rifle that would be a fine deer rifle and wouldn't break the bank or round out a collection .has a small crack back of receiver, not much, I took pictures and small chip bottom front of forearm . Has a decent bore .I've a good number of these old rifles and want to cut back. I'd have to send to a FFL or if you have a C&R, would need a postal money order or cashiers check.
