Here's another old 1899 Savage, this one in 32/40 caliber, has a 24" round barrel ,wood looks to have been replaced at sometime. Serial number 41.701 dates this one to 1904 as well.bore looks pretty good, cycles ammo fine. a popular cartridge years back you don't find many old Savages in the 32/40 Winchester caliber Not much more I can say about this old rifle , I took a good number of pictures in good outside light. I'd send it to a FFL or if you've a valid C&R , I'd charge $45.00 shipped to the lower 48 and refund after three days less shipping if your not happy. Providing you don't dismantle or shoot it.
