Description:
This is a nice clean English double rifle in 360 Eley caliber. This is a 360 BP Express cartridge of 2 9/16 inch case length. The 360 English case is what the Euopeons used as a basis for their 9.3x 72 R MM and other length of straight wall cartridges and that brass can used to make ammunition for this rifle. Also it is possible that the 360 BP 2 1/4" ammo would work. It uses .366 bullets. The bores are lightly frosted and the rifling is good and strong. This gun has new wood as the original stock was soaked with oil and had several repairs in the wrist. The original wood goes with the gun. It dates to about 1890. This is one gun that should be put back into service. This gun is as tight as it was new.
