Rate of Twist 1:14...case hardened Mauser 98 action has been reworked with addition of square bridge and second square, both dove-tailed to accept Talley Quick Detach rings (included) ... Model 70 type trigger is installed and set for 3 lb 3 oz pull ... swept back bolt handle has 4 checkered pannels ... sling swivel studs. Top of barrel is engraved in script, Donnelly is known for manufacturing fine target barrels and he is a charter member of the Custom Gunmaker's Guild.
High contrast, flame pattern, streaky European walnut was selected for the stock. The stock features a skeleton steel grip cap on the pistol grip, a rounded ebony forend tip, and a swept shadowline cheekpiece. Please view the photos for the beautifully executed fler-de-lis checkering on the front and rear grip surfaces.
This gun is essentially 'as new'. The bore is bright, wood has no flaws and metal finishes are pristine.
