H&K MR556A1 (81000579) Rifle 5.56 NIB, 16 1/2" bbl, black finish, full top Picatinny rail for your favorite optics, black textured pistol grip, full-length M-LOC hand guard, adjustable butt stock, and vented recoil pad.
The MR556A1 semi-automatic rifle developed by Heckler & Koch as a premium-level firearm is a direct descendant of the world famous HK416 using a proprietary HK gas piston and pusher-rod operating system in place of the gas tube normally found in AR15/M16/M4-style rifles. Common malfunctions in direct-impingement gas systems are virtually eliminated as waste gasses and carbon fouling are not sent into the upper receiver to operate the action. These rifles are assembled in the USA using high quality German and USA made components. Many parts and assemblies were originally developed for the HK416. The rifle uses a German barrel cold forged out of highest quality cannon-grade steel with 6 lands and grooves and a 1:7 twist rate.
