Description:
Winchester number 10 engraving pattern with full body elk on left side. Rust blued barrel with no Turnbull logo. Buttplate and finger lever are case colored. Receiver and fore end cap are case hardened. There is no safety and the the trigger and hammer group are by Browning. The highly figured Americcan black walnut is pristine with no scratches or dents, with the exception of a pin head size dent directly in front of the checkering on the underside of the forearm. Stocks are checkered 22 lines to the inch in H pattern wrap around style. Likewise, the metal has no scratches or other issues. The rifle shoots well and will group three rounds into two inches at 100 yards with either smokless or black powder. The sights are a vintage Winchester flattop rear, and Winchester silver insert front. The rifle was done by Turnbull about 15 years ago. I have brass and dies for sale if you dont have them. Shipping $60 in a hard case.
