This very nice Remington Model 1902 rolling block 7mm (7X57mm Spanish Mauser) military rifle most likely was used by a South American country. The 30"" round barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The barrel and other metal has a smooth brown patina. The casehardened action is silvered. This rifle has the Day's patent rotary extractor, Edwards military rear sight, and the full wood Model 1897 type forearm with slotted barrel band. The butt stock is very good with no cracks or chips and light to moderate usage wear. The forend and top wood are very good with no cracks or chips and light to moderate wear. The cleaning rod and sling swivels are present. The action functions correctly. This is a much nicer than normal Remington Model 1902 military rifle.
