This Model 61 Winchester rifle is circa 1951.The 24"" round 22 short, long, or long rifle barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 97% blue with some edge wear and freckling. The butt stock is very good with no cracks or chips and a couple of use dents. The checkered metal butt plate is fine. The 17-groove forearm is fine with light wear. The action functions properly. This Model 61 is ready for the shooter or collector.
