German WWI military carbine made by Erfurt in 1917, arsenal refurbished and reissued to the Reichs Financial Ministry post WWI. Butt plate is marked ""R.F.V.2021"". Receiver is marked ""1920"" over ""Erfurt"" over ""1917"". Serial numbers are matching. Stock has faint imperial cartouches and 1920 marking. Bore is excellent. A desirable and scarce carbine.
