Serial number falls in correct 10,000-15,215 range. All serial numbers match. Firing pin, magazine and grips are un-numbered as they should be for this model. Cross and V on left-side of receiver and a Cross over M on the right-side. Arsenal re-applied bluing rates 98%, while the strawed small parts show signs of wear. Checkered walnut grips are in very good condition. The mirror bore has well-defined grooves. Manufactured by DWM for military contract sales in Switzerland, this Model 1906 Luger is a nostalgic pistol. All of the major metal components are blued, with the smaller components bearing strawed and nitre blued finishes. The receiver is marked with the Swiss "Cross in Shield" crest over the chamber area, with a cross over "V" proof present on the left side and cross over "M" proof on the right. The toggle is stamped with the DWM monogram, as this rifle also includes a 4 - 3/4" tapered barrel, grip safety, and corresponding serial numbers.
