Description:
Charming little percussion pistol with rich case colors and scroll engraving. 50 caliber smoothbore. Produced sometime in the 1840's, this pistol is a virtual time capsule. Bores are near mint on the 4 inch barrels.Checkered grips also are in very fine condition. Bayonet is spring activated. Unique ram rod swivels to reach both barrels. English proofs are found on bottom flats. Beautiful little pistol that would make an excellent conversation piece in your collection!
