Description:
SOLD This U.S. Property Colt Woodsman was manufactured in 1943. It is clearly marked with the GHD inspection initials of Brigadier General Guy H. Drewry. I do have the Colt Archives Letter. The Woodsman Match Target was shipped to the Naval Supply Depot in Oakland, CA. on December 1, 1943. Bore in the 6 1/2" barrel is bright and shiny and appears in new condition. A high percentage of the original blue finish remains. The finish does show wear as shown in the pictures. All markings are clear and original. The magazine base plate is marked with two lines. It is full blue. Grips are excellent and still sharp. These are not seen very often. It is the first I've had in several years. It will make a great addition to your collection.
