SOLD You will like the fact this revolver was sold to the U.S. War Department, Captain T.G. O'Neal, Washington D.C. Capt. O'Neal was the recipient of quite a few guns for Military Intelligence. It was shipped to Joseph A. Lorch on March 17,1942. The original blue finish remains, although it has partly changed to brown. Markings are clear and original, including the Rampant Colt. Bore in the 2" barrel is excellent. No issues. Action works perfectly in double and single action. Lock-up is tight. Grips fit perfectly and show normal use. A Detective Special with a military pedigree is highly desirable and will make a great addition to any collection.
