You cannot upgrade this one!!!! 1961 production Kansas Centennial Frontier Scout .22. It was purchased by the customer's grandfather in 1961 and has literally been in the dark in a closet since. Never played with, never shot, never displayed. The gold plate is like a mirror. I didn't try to cock it or open the gate or anything else. Don't even want to put a fingerprint on it. It comes with the original Colt box as shown with the original Warranty card, manual, brush, wax paper, plastic bag, AND the original purchase receipt. It also came with the Colt 125th Anniversary medallion which I think was put with all the guns Colt made in 1961. The wood display case has a couple of storage dings on the top, but it is soft wood and 60 years old. The red velvet inside is as it was the day the gun was built. This literally looks like it was made yesterday. As with so many things, you get what you pay for. I've never seen one with the original box, receipt, etc. This is as perfect as you will ever see. Sorry if I'm being repetitive, but it's that good. $50 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
