Description:
Savage model 1899A in 30-30 Win. Built in 1910,this rifle is in excellent original condition. The 26" barrel has an excellent bore. The rifle retains 95% of the original blue finish. There is a small scuffed spot on the right side of the receiver at the ejection port.(shown in photo). Otherwise the blue is smooth and shows only minor edge wear. The stock and forend are sound and free of any cracks or damage. The lever still retains around 50% of the original case colors. This is an honest 99 in remarkable condition for a rifle that is 111 years old. C%R eligible.
