Description:
On Hold, Sale Pending. This is an older reproduction of the Colt 2nd Model Dragoon .44 Percussion Dragoon Revolver that was made by Armi San Marco or just "San Marco" around 1972. Features include squareback trigger guard, half octagon 7.5" barrel, rectangular cylinder stops, 6 shot cylinder, and brass gripstraps. Frame, Trigger Guard, Backstrap, Barrel, Loading Lever, and Cylinder have matching numbers with a fairly decent depiction of the roll engraved battle scene found on the original Colt. Rear face of cylinder has safety pins on the lugs as original Colts of this era would have. Overall, it still retains about 97% of its original blue and case colors. Slight ring around the cylinder and some edge wear to the cylinder stops which typically happens when these guns are cocked and handled. Screws are decent overall...a few show some wear to the slots. Grips are solid with some minor marks, dings, and handling wear but solid with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Action works smoothly. Bore is excellent. Nice example of an early ASM Dragoon that is almost a half century old. Antique, No FFL required in Most States.
