1873 Winchester Rifle. .38 Cal. Standard 24" Round Barrel. Factory letter from Cody in May 1992 states gun was recieved in warehouse April 28, 1892 and shipped from warehouse April 14, 1894. Serial no. 446622. Been in a collection since 1989. Rifle is TOTALLY ORIGINAL FINISH. Stock is oil finished and has some nice grain to it. Some minor marks in forend. Not distracting. Barrel and tube have 98% Blue. Reciever has 96% Blue. Lever and Hammer have a fair amount of casecolor remaining. Buttplate casecolor has faded. Bore is mint. Action is perfect. This is a far superior antique 1873 Rifle than is usually found. Please call 973-214-3407 with questions.
