Scarce nickel plated non-engraved Remington rider magazine pistol. NSN, 32 XSRF caliber, 3" part octagon barrel, nickel finish, and antique ivory grips. These small pistols allowed for more than double the capacity of Remington's famous double Derringer in roughly the same overall size. They were manufactured from 1871 to 1888. Most were factory engraved making plain examples like this one harder to find and thus very desirable. This example has a two line address and 1871 patent date marking on top of the barrel, and is outfitted with standard sights. 95% original finish remaining. Mechanically fine.
