SOLD A western scarce open top Merwin Hulbert Revolver with a 6" barrel. And the black hard rubber grips are very good. The exterior is grey metal, with light markings on top of the barrel and this rare model has the scooped cylinder. This is a SA revolver is locked up. I can take the cylinder and barrel off, but thehammer is llocked. Possibly the hammer is slipped off the mainspring? I know nothing about these guns, except they are rare and colorful. The triiger guard has foliate engraving. Priced fairly,, you fix. Photos when the hand is pulled back away from the cylinder the hammer will cock back and the sear catch the top of the trigger when the trigger is pushed forward. The arbor end is worn and can be tack welded into the frame easily, as there is enough metal at the end.
