Description:
This gun features a 24 inch round barrel with a folding Beach's combination front sight and a two-leaf express rear sight. Gun looks great with a mint bore and retains most of the thinning blue on the barrel. Special order nickel plated forend cap and buttplate. Checkered pistol grip stock in fine condition.The case colors on the frame, dust cover, lever and hammer have aged to a smooth gray patina. Top of the barrel and the lifter have the 50-95 marking on them. Dust cover also is marked 50 Cal. Early gun with thumbprint dust cover. Special order set trigger. Caliber and barrel length are confirmed by Cody Research form. According to the Herb Houze "The Winchester Model 1876 Centennial Book" There are only 22 in this caliber with a 24 inch round barrel. Great little gun!
