Mfg. 1899 according to the official Winchester records or 1903 according to the polishing room records.
Fair to good condition, The gun is well used and there are numerous nicks, dings, scuffs, scrapes and dents. Little to no original finish, metal has probably been scrubbed at some point. The buttstock has been broken and repaired (visible in right side pics), it is a fair job and appears to be solid. There is also a sliver of wood broken from the lower left side of the tang that has been repaired. There are initials carved in the right and left side of the buttstock and the right side of the forearm. The rear sight is a three leaf with the middle leaf broken and it appears to have been a replacement. There are a couple of pretty good dings on the barrel, one on top about 2" behind the front sight and another below the rear sight dovetail on the left side. The bore is somewhat dark with strong rifling and light pitting, but very shootable. The action appears to function properly.
This 94 would make a dandy little coyote/deer saddle gun and a lovely wall hanger when not in use.
