BRITISH GODDARD & CO. LONDON PERCUSSION .47 CALIBER HALF STOCK STALKING RIFLE CA. 1850’S. 33” octagon barrel signed “LONDON” on the top flat with original front and rear sights. Engraved lock signed “GODDARD & CO.”. Walnut checkered stock with pewter forend cap and steel engraved patch box and mounts. Original ramrod. Very good with metal having a nice original dark patina and stock with the original finish. Working order with dark rifling that will clean up well. Nice untouched example overall. Classic fine quality light stalking rifle of the Victorian era.
