Description:
This Browning BAR Grade I was made in Belgium by FN in 1970 and is in very good condition. The barrel is stamped "Made in Belgium." Original .338s were limited production and were mostly seen in the Grade II BARs. The .338 in a Grade I BAR is rarer than Grade II and several were delivered in the last year .338 FN production of the Grade I. There is a little bluing wear to the crown and the stock has a very few minor dings and there is a little wear to the wood finish on the right side of the wrist and the knob of the pistol grip and a small spot between the rear sling swivel and the recoil pad. .338 Winchester Magnum

Metal Condition: Very good. There is wear in the bluing at the muzzle. See pictures.
Wood Condition: Very Good. The checkering is very good with no compression. Some of the finish is starting to come off of the buttstock on the right side of the wrist and the bottom of the pistol grip. See pictures.
Bore Condition: Very good. Sharp lands and grooves.
