Marlin 1894 Cal 44-40. S#396069, 24" octagon barrel with replacement marbles Sheard brass bead front sight w'original sporting rear sight. Blue finish/ case hardened action. Marlin/ Model 94 used after 1905. Walnut forearm & straight grip with crescent steel butt plate. Right barrel flat has been stamped 587 and 20883. Barrel and mag tube retain 70% dull fading blue. Action retains 30% light case colors fading to silver gray patina. Butt Plate is reblued. Stock and forearm have been sanded, undersized and refinished. Very Bright bore w/ sharp rifle in. Trigger pull 2lb 12 oz. This rifle would be a great shooter , would be very accurate with the fine bore it has. Mechanically excellant. Best to email me with questions as I have a real job also.
