Description:
Rare gun made in the 40,xxx SN range with two sets of Damascus barrels, both in 16ga. Gun made with 1 splinter forend, auto ejectors, double triggers, capped pistol grip buttstock and original Lefever Arms Co hard rubber buttplate. The gun is nicely engraved in standard mid-range FE Grade pattern with birds on sides and light scroll as seen in the photos. This is a very versatile gun which can be used in any game or on gamebird in North America.
Both sets of barrels are excellent and sound. Mechanics are crisp. The gun retains about 20%of its original color, mostly in protected areas. Barrels retain most of their brown and white damascus pattern with great bores in both sets. The stocks are sound and retain nearly all of an older restored finish with crisp and clear checkering throughout.
