Description:
Nice gun, excellet cal; for both Varmint and Deer. Mild recoiling makes is a good gun for a young or newer shooter. (6mm is the same as a 244 Rem) and has balistics simialr to a 243 Winchester.
Introduced by Remington as a less expensive choice for a Bolt Rifle than the 700's but it was soon found that these are often known for exceptional accuracy, so much so that they have often been adopted by target shooters for a build.
Produced from 1967 to 1983 and in this fine cal from 1969 to 1979
This one is in very good but not quite excellent conditon (we are calling it 88%) with some hunting marks but no major flaws. Comes with Weaver type 2 pc scope base (we have many excellent used scope...inquire) Rear site has been removed to make way for scope clearance and did not come with the gun but these are readily avail on ebay and other places.
