1849 Colt Pocket Revolver. Cased and engraved.
This 5" Pocket is engraved and in a rare Rosewood French style casing, S/N 58400-Mfd in 1853.The revolver retains 95-98% original blue throughout with 95% silver remaining on BS and TG with some slight tarnishing on underside of butt. Case colors remain on frame, loading lever and flash shield. All engraving/markings are sharp and crisp. Cylinder scene is ~90%. Bore is clean with no pitting noted. Walnut grips are near perfect. All accessories are excellent.
This quality set would normally be found only at a high level action house and comes with an outstanding provenance and no added premiums.
