Description:
One of only 59 single-barrelled trap guns built by James Purdey & Sons since 1922. This example was completed in June 1974 actioned by Ernest Lawrence engraved by Ken Hunt in Silver finish. Pistol grip stock with engraved cap and Monte Carlo comb. Square-backed guard. No Safety. Beavertail fore-end. Barrels numbered “1” and “2” in gold in Old English font with choke percentages on rear lump. Raised matted ventilated top rib. Spare top-lever spring mainspring ejector spring and spare striker Tumbler had an arrow indicator.
