Description:
Percussion back action lock. Underneath the barrel is a lever that activates a mechanism that pushes the barrel forward. I haven't seen another like this. This gun is in beautiful condition with all the Damascus pattern on the barrel. It has a very small blade front sight and a 3-leaf rear sight. The engraved lock and hammer looks to have been left in the white. Steel buttplate. High grade wood with sharp checkering. Retains most all the original varnish. Nice functioning action. Gun comes complete with a case that has all the necessities to go out and shoot.
